In order to raise funds for the very worthwhile cause of Help for Heroes, the Alnwick Playhouse Concert Band, under the batton of Ray Thompson, performed a highly relevant selection of military and war theme music to a full appreciative audience in the Alnwick Playhouse on October on 23rd 2010.

Ably compered by Alex Swailes as Master of Ceremonies with annotations by Nicola, the evening swung along with great gusto and was enjoyed by all. A significant amount was raised for H4H and swelled by the well supported raffle.
